A Wednesday night a collision between a motorcycle and a car has left one Toledo man dead.
The accident happened on Douglas Road at approximately 11:30 pm. According to the authorities, Jason Alexander, 32, was traveling north on Douglas approaching Alexis when a car being driven by David Robinson, 38, was traveling southbound on Douglas and traveled left of center, colliding with Mr. Alexander.
From the scene of the crash, Mr. Robinson fled on foot but was later arrested near the Miracle Mile Shopping Center. The accident is still under investigation, but initial reports say that drugs, alcohol and speed were factors in the accident.
