Three teens die in Ohio 53 crash | Toledo, Ohio Car Accident Attorney

Three teens died late Monday night in a crash on Ohio 53.

The Fremont post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the triple fatal traffic accident on Ohio 53 south of County Road 92 in Seneca Township, Seneca County.

A 1994 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Brandan Schaade, drove left of center on Ohio 53, striking a semi-truck head on.

Brandan was pronounced dead at the scene by the Seneca County coroner. The right front passenger was Brady K. Hedrick. Brady also died at the scene. The right rear passenger, Clinton Morris, was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he later died.

The semi-truck, a 2009 International Pro Star, was driven by Clarence E. Grooms. Grooms suffered minor injuries and was transported by New Riegel EMS to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he was treated and released.
After the collision, the semi went off the west side and caught fire.

None of the victims were wearing seat belts. Clinton was thrown from the vehicle. Brandan and Brady were pinned in the vehicle and extricated by mechanical means. Grooms was wearing a seat belt, which allowed him to remain alert and exit his semi after it caught fire.
