A recent study conducted by the University of South Carolina found that people are four times more distracted while talking or preparing to talk than when they are listening.

The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration reported that 25% of all car accidents were caused by distractions, and that 73% of all drivers admitted to talking on their cell phones while driving.
