Spike in truck accident fatalities | Toledo Ohio truck accident lawyers

After compiling accident information, it was recelty announced that although the number of motor vehicle accidents in general has decreased, the number of Americans killed in motor vehcile accidents involving commercial trucks has spiked. This piece of information has sparked lawmakers to start taking action at preventing these accidents.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration fatalities from collsions involving large trucks increased 8.7% in 2010 compared to 2009. Motor vehcile accident fatalities have decreased in general however. From 2009 to 2010 there is a 2.9% decrease in the number of fatalities.
