Settlement in work truck accident | Toledo Ohio work injury lawyer

A settlement was recently reached in a work-related case where a truck driver suffered a shoulder injury, neck inury, a concussion and traumatic glaucoma to his right eye.

The accident happened while Terry Franklin was a driver for Koch's Poultry. Mr. Franklin had picked up a load of chickens with his commercial vehcile and was transporting them to the processing plant. While he was travelling back, a drunk driver made a left hand turn in front of him, causing a collision of the two vehicles.

Mr. Franklin sued the bar where the driver had been prior to the wreck along with the uninsured motorist carrier for Koch's poultry. He also sued his place of employment for workers' compensation benefits.

Terry had to undergo neck surgery and still receives pain management for his neck pain. He is unable to go back to work as a truck driver as wel as a diesel mechanic, which are the only two vocations he has ever known.
