Seneca County Crash Claims Two Lives

Early Wednesday morning around 6:50 a.m. two men died when their cars collided with each other in northern Seneca County, Ohio.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, both Clyde, Ohio resident Dillon Spencer, 21; and Bellevue, Ohio resident James Turner, 45 died from the fatal injures they sustained at the scene of the accident.

The crash occurred 3 miles south of Clyde, Ohio at Township Road 32 and Country Road 34.

The patrol report shows Mr. Spencer was driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix when he ignored a stop sign, drove through the intersection, and then smashed into Mr. Turner’s Dodge Ram pickup truck. Both the vehicles traveled off the intersection’s northwest corner and caught fire.

The crash remains under investigation. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
