Nick Adenhart, 22 and a rookie pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, was recently killed in an auto accident. It happened when Andrew Gallo, 23, was driving drunk and struck Adenhart's car. The two others killed in the crash were 20 year old Courtney Stewart and 25 year old Henry Pearson. John Wilihite, 25, was another passenger in the vehicle and he was critically injured. Gallo was already a convicted drunk driver. He was charged with three counts of second degree murder, felony drunk driving and felony hit and run for this accident. He was found guilty of all charges and could face more than 50 years in prison.
