Pregnant Woman Attacked by Pit Bull | Toledo, Ohio dog bite attorneys
A pregnant Toledo woman was attacked and bitten by a pit bull Wednesday morning.Ariel Conley was walking to a nearby carryout when the dog broke free of its leash, which was attached to a pole nearby, and attacked her. She suffered minor injuries, including a bite and scratches. She was treated at Toledo Hospital.
The attack came a day after Toledo City council voted to change laws that marked pit bulls as dangerous dogs. From now on, the danger of a dog will be determined by its behavior, not by its breed.
The dog in question in this incident has not been taken to the pound, but the owner of the dog has been issued a summons to appear in court on a vicious dog charge.
