Late on Saturday night, at around 10:30 p.m., a person was struck and killed by a train in Huron Township.
According to 13 ABC, the police are not releasing details about the accident at this time. What we do know is that the accident happened at the railroad tracks on Rye Beach Road, which is not far from the Bowling Green State University Firelands Campus.
The accident is under investigation by the Huron Police at this time. Our thoughts go out to the family of the individual killed in this tragic accident.
