Around 3:00 am the morning of September 26 Latonya Shegog was walking along State Route 2 in Ottawa County when she was struck by a car near Camp Perry. Latonya was 38 years old and died at the scene of the accident. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating this accident. Additional details and the name of the driver have yet to been released to the public. When another person is at fault for someone's death they should have to pay for the damages they caused.
