Actor Paul Walker, most known for his role in the movie series “Fast & Furious” was killed in a car crash on Saturday afternoon.
The fatal car accident happened north of Los Angeles in Valencia. There are conflicting statements of whether Walker was behind the wheel of the red Porsche or a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash. A statement on his Facebook page said he was the passenger, but statements from witnesses say the actor was driving.
The actor was in town for a car show to raise money for Philippine typhoon relief efforts and the accident occurred as he was leaving the charity event.
A statement on Walker’s official Facebook page read:
It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences.

Fatal Car Accident
This is a very sad situation that has taken social media by storm as fans comment on the death of Paul Walker. It is important for people to remember that Walker is just like everyone else and has friends and family that will be extremely affected by the loss of their loved one.
If Paul was indeed the passenger in the Porsche at the time of the accident, Paul’s family may be able to file a wrongful death lawsuit just as if surviving family members would do after any other car accident.
