One Man Killed, Others Injured in Williams County Accident
David Taylor, Jr, of Montpelier was killed in a single-vehicle crash north of Montpelier. Two other people were injured in this accident. Taylor was driving a sport utility vehicle north on County Road 13 near road M-50 at approximately 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday March 21, 2012 when his SUV drove off the right side of the road into a concrete catch basin. The vehicle also overturned several time before throwing Mr. Weed, who was not wearing his seatbelt, on the ground.Taylor was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with critical injuries and according to a hospital spokesman is in fair condition.
Tyler Smith, 21, of Pioneer, Ohio was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers where he was treated and released.
