Man Dies in Enormous Dryer While Working | Toledo Ohio Workers’ Compensation Lawyer
The Charles E. Boyk Law offices sends their condolences to the family of 46-year-old Eleazar Torres Gomez who, In Tulsa, Oklahoma, died inside an enormous dryer after he fell from a conveyor belt while trying to un-stick a jammed load of laundry.
Gomez worked for Cintas, which is the nation's biggest industrial launderer.
Cintas told the media after the accident that, “the company was saddened by the loss of a ‘dedicated employee-partner,’ but also pointed out that Torres Gomez had violated safety procedures.”
However, according to reports, other Cintas employees said that what Gomez was doing when he died was a common practice at the plant.
