Landscaper's legs crushed in accident | Toledo Ohio work injury lawyer

Robert Loja was unloading a trailer on October 24, 2008 when he was struck by a driver who was blinded by the glare of the sun. Right before she hit Loja, she also hit a small cone and a "Men Working" sign. As a result of the injuries he sustained, Mr. Loja had to have his left leg amputates above the knee. His right leg was also mangled in the accident.

This accident has left Robert unable to work. He filed a lawsuit against the landscaping company and the driver of the vehicle. The jury found that the landscaping company was 60% liable for the accidnet because they told Loja to park in the middle of the street and did not have a large enough sing to warn drivers. They found the driver of the vehcile 10% liable for the damages.

The jury ruled that Robert Loja be payed a total of $11.2 million.
