Justice reached in dog bite case

In 2009 the victim and her friend went to a bar. During their time out her friend suggested that they go back to their car to let her chow dog out of her car. While they were opening the door, the dog lunged out and bit the victim on the face, causing much damage.

The jury awarded the woman $94,742. This included $24,000 for medical treatment, $3,900 for future medical care, and the rest for pain and suffering.

Although it took nearly three years to recover the damages, a fair compensation was finally reached.
