Huron woman injured when truck runs off the road | Sandusky Ohio Truck Accident Attorneys

The weather in Northern Ohio has been a strange one this year. Unseasonable rain and temperatures in the 50’s! During one of the numerous rain storms this year a full size pick up truck driven by a Huron woman rolled down a ditch and lodged into a swamp off the east edge of Cedar Point Road.
Driver Holly Duttera suffered facial injuries and was conscious when EMS arrived on the scene.
Sandusky paramedics got to the scene first and waded through knee-deep mud to pry the truck door open.
They put her on a back board and took her to Firelands Regional Medical Center where she remained until later that night.
Sandusky police Lt. Robert Vanscoy said the truck was traveling north on Cedar Point Road when it veered off the road to the left. Duttera then overcorrected. The truck came back across the road, went off the right side and plunged into the edge of a swamp, according to the report.
