Hit and run causes wrongful death of 19-year-old Toledo woman

A car accident occurred when two different cars struck and killed a 19-year-old Toledo woman early Saturday morning on Central Ave., according to the Toledo Blade. Hit-and-run accidents involving pedestrians are not uncommon in our Toledo, Ohio personal injury attorneys’ offices, especially those resulting in serious personal injury or even wrongful death. The first car to strike Sasha Kemp fled the scene, leaving the woman in the road, and then another car ran over her body after attempting to swerve around her. The second driver fled on foot after crashing his vehicle into a fence. Ms. Kemp was pronounced dead at the Toledo Hospital. The case is still under investigation, as police try to find those responsible for the young woman’s tragic death.
