High Winds Topple Wall, Kill Worker | Edgerton, Ohio wrongful death lawyers
Our Toledo area wrongful death lawyers were saddened to hear that a worker was killed at the site of the Edgerton High School expansion project on Wednesday when a recently constructed wall blew over in high winds. The identity of the worker has not yet been released.
A burst of high wind blew the 10-foot-tall wall over around 11:30 a.m. The wall was part of an addition to the high school that will create classrooms for kindergarten through eighth grade classes.
The National Weather Service said the gust of wind was a "microburst," not a tornado.
OSHA is currently investigating the accident.
