Firefighter Injured En Route to Blaze | Toledo, Ohio Accident Lawyers

Timothy Johnson, a volunteer firefighter with the Portage Fire District in Oak Harbor, suffered serious injuries in a two-car accident while en route to battle a fire on Friday.

There were two passengers in the other car: Olivia Duty, who was air lifted to the hospital with incapacitating injuries, and Ian Hoffman, who lost his life in the accident.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated, and no one was initially cited.

Johnson was on his way to Tim & Deanna's Recreation in Clay Center when the accident occurred. A fire was reported at that location around 10:20 p.m. Friday.

The fire destroyed the building and also damaged nearby homes, including the home of one of this law firm's employees. Her home suffered damage to the yard, siding and garage and the interior of her home has soot damage.
