Crash in Wood County kills 1 and injures another
An early morning crash in Wood County killed one and injured the other.
The accident happened Sunday in the early hours, but was not discovered until about 6:30 a.m. The Sheriff reports that Matthew Nissen was the driver of the vehicle. He was traveling along Bloomdale Rd. when his vehicle went off the right side of the road, over corrected and then went off of the left side. The vehicle rolled several times before striking a tree.
Matthew was transported from the scene to the Toledo Hospital by helicopter. Unfortunately, Mr. Nissen’s passenger, Mitchell Aring, was killed and pronounced dead at the scene.
