Crane accident | Fremont Ohio work injury lawyer

On March 22, 2010 a 19-year-old working at a power plant was lucky to escape a workplace accident without fatal injuries.

The incident happened when the counterbalance weight of a crane wieghing 28.6 pounds detached and fell about 13 feet towards a group of men. The 19-year-old lost his balance as they tried to get away and the weight landed on his right foot.

After an investigation, it was found that the wight was not properly secured nor was the crane maintained to standard. The company was fined for these offenses.

The worker is now suing for the damages he sustained as a result of their negligence.
