Car accident puts Wal-Mart into darkness on Black Friday | Port Clinton Ohio Car Accident Attorneys
Some were lucky enough to get in, grab the items they were waiting for and get out, while some weren’t so lucky. The Wal-Mart in Port Clinton Ohio literally became black on Black Friday. Wal-Mart opened at 10p.m. on Thursday November 24, 2011; many rushed in for the big ticket items they had been waiting for, got what they needed and were out of the store right before the power went out.
Other excited shoppers were stuck inside the dark Port Clinton Ohio Wal-Mart due to a power outage caused by an injury accident. An excited driver lost control of their vehicle on State Route 163 and crashed into a transformer. The transformer also caught on fire leaving residents from Port Clinton to the Village of Marblehead without power for over an hour.
