6 injured in Ohio 12 head-on accident | Toledo, Ohio car accident attorney

We are saddened to report that six people were injured Friday afternoon in a head-on collision of two cars on Ohio 12, east of Arcadia, Ohio.

Andrew Kimble, was the driver of one car, who had to be extricated from the wreckage by the Washington Township Fire Department. Kimble was taken by ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

The driver of the second car, Helaina Todd, and four juveniles in her car were all taken by Emergency Medical Service to Fostoria Community Hospital.


The crash occurred Friday afternoon July 23, 2011 on Ohio 12, west of County 257 in Washington Township.  

Kimble was driving west on Ohio 12 in a 2001 Saturn, and Todd was eastbound in a 2010 Kia. Kimble's car went left of center and hit the Todd car head-on.

Todd's car went off the south side of Ohio 12 and came to rest in a ditch, while Kimble's car went off the north side of Ohio 12 and rolled onto the passenger side.
Air bags deployed in both vehicles, and all were wearing seat belts, Hartman said.
